Gav is a like a Swiss Army Knife when it comes to supporting productions as he can be employed in a multitude of roles and is a very useful asset to have around.  A former Royal Marines and Army Commando, Gav's military background working within specialist units and later as an Adventurous Training Instructor has given him plenty of transferrable skills to bring to the Film and TV Safety and Security realm.

During his time in the military, Gav has operated in some of the world's most hostile environments such as Jungles of Brunei, high up in Norway's Arctic Circle, and the Deserts of Afghanistan, Iraq, the USA and Oman. He has vast experience in Mountain and Water environments, he is comfortable being uncomfortable and is cheerful in the face of adversity.
