Gav is a Remote Location Safety Consultant and Adventure Safety Consultant specialising in complex, remote and high-risk environments.

Drawing on a distinguished career as a Royal Marines and Army Commando, he provides expert safety, risk management and operational support to Film & Television productions, expedition teams and luxury adventure travel operators worldwide.

With extensive experience working across polar, mountain, jungle, desert and maritime environments, Gav has operated in some of the world's most challenging locations, including Antarctica, the Arctic, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

His background in specialist military units and in adventurous training has equipped him with the leadership, planning and risk management expertise required to support projects in demanding and unpredictable conditions.

Gav works closely with production companies and adventure travel organisations to develop practical safety strategies, manage operational risk and enable teams to achieve their objectives safely and efficiently.

His approach combines real-world field experience with professional qualifications and a thorough understanding of remote operations, expedition planning and emergency preparedness.

He continues to provide annual safety consultancy and operational support for luxury expedition travel companies operating in Antarctica.
